After her disastrous trip to Washington D.C. Kitty decided to take a vacation to get away from it all possibly write her memoir. But even in the small Colorado mountain town something or someone is stalking Kitty. Kitty thinks it is just a prank but so discovers its a curse. Then with out warning Cormac shows up on Kitty's doorstep with her lawyer Ben seriously injured. Now Kitty has a curse, an injured lawyer, Cormac and evil is right outside her door. It’s just another day in the life of Kitty Norville.

This book is another exciting adventure featuring celebrity were-wolf Kitty Norville. It is darker and more sinister than the 1st 2 books, Kitty and the Midnight Hour and Kitty Goes to Washington but it sucks you in fast and your left running to the nearest bookstore or library begging for more Kitty. At first I was upset about Carrie Vaughn throwing Ben and Kitty together in a relationship. I was secretly hoping Kitty and Cormac would hook up but Vaughn was right Ben and Kitty work really well together. Kitty and Cormac would have been like fireworks pretty, colorful and bound to blow up.
